(1) Search individual word.
If you want to search articles which contains World, you can type in the following search (do not use double quotes):

Ex: World

(2) Search multiple words.
To search multiple words, you must use operators ("and" "or") between each word or phrase. If you want to search articles which contains both lawyers and USA, you can type in the following search (do not use double quotes):

Ex: lawyers and USA

If you want to search articles which contains either lawyers or attorneys, you can type in the following search (do not use double quotes):

Ex: lawyers or attorneys

(3) Search exact phrase.
To search for an exact phrase, put it in double quotes. If you are looking for articles about non-compete agreements, you can type in the following search:

Ex: "non-compete agreement"

If you are looking for an exact phrase that contains AND or OR, such as "Ben and Jerry", you can type in the following search:

Ex: "Ben and Jerry" and frozen

Things to avoid in your search string:

• mismatched double quotes
• words or phrases that are not seperated by AND or OR
• parenthesis "( )"
